A course is a the best way to get acquainted with ceramics. Or, if you already have a basis, to learn more. The process of working with ceramics takes time and patience. Over several weeks, you get introduced to different concepts, and learn to find your own way with clay.

Courses are planned monthly, and we announce them via our newsletter.

ONE WEEK INTENSIVE COURSES

Occasionally, we also offer so-called ‘intensive courses’. These are completed in 1 weeks, 4 days in a row, with 1 glazing day in the week following it (5 course days total).

One Week Intensive: Allround Ceramics
(5 days - any level)

One Week Intensive: Wheel Throwing for Beginners

It is very common for all courses to be full/sold out.

Course Levels

Beginners

Beginner level courses are suitable for anyone without prior experience with ceramics. We will explore all the basic techniques and skills in order for you to become acquainted with the craft. Also if you do have prior experience, this might be the perfect course to refresh your basic techniques!

Intermediate

Intermediate level courses are suitable for people with prior experience with ceramics. If you have participated in an all-level or beginners course, this is the perfect follow up to continue to develop your skills. If you have no prior experience with ceramics or no experience in that specific course (for example wheel throwing), we would like to advise you to follow a beginner level course first.

*If you have done an all round ceramics course you can not yet participate in an intermediate wheel throwing course. You have to follow a beginners wheel throwing course first.

Masterclass

Masterclasses are suitable for people with a strong basis and experience in ceramics. In these classes we focus on advanced techniques for those who want to perfect their craft! Masterclasses are given by guest-teachers and experienced Studio Pansa teachers. These custom classes are focused on developing unique skills taught by experts in the world of ceramics.
