Pottery is increasingly more popular. This time in national newspaper Het Parool: an extensive visit to our studio, and some other places in Amsterdam. A lovely interview with attention to the mindful and also the tough sides to pottery.

A visit from De Kleine K
De Kleine K is a magazine that has been around for a long time, which focuses exclusively on ceramic arts. It has a website and a digital magazine, as well as a YouTube channel with amazing documentaries.

RTL 4's EditieNL tries to work the wheel
Today we received a visit from EditieNL, the news program on Dutch TV station RTL 4. Some Studio Pansa members and of course founder Lennard were interviewed for this item. Reporter Annemarie Landman received a special lesson from Denise Aimee Rijnen, our trusted wheel throwing teacher. Unfortunately Landman was not very focused, leading to hilarious results!

RTL News: 'Is pottery the new yoga?'
RTL Nieuws wrote an article about pottery and ceramics, preparing us for the TV item to follow later today. ‘Clay is very wilful, and it takes a long time to master’, says Lennard, Studio Pansa’s founder. ‘You will be punished immediately for not being present.’

Pansa in NRC Handelsblad
National newspaper NRC Handelsblad wrote an extensive article about the resurgence of ceramics, and visited our studio during the Monday morning throwing class. Working with clay and doing yoga have a lot in common, they argue, as they allow you to focus and move from your mind into your body. Some wonderful pictures were made of some of our members.

Cultuur + Ondernemen: Lennard Houkes opent keramiekstudio in Amsterdam
Stichting Cultuur+Ondernemen is a knowledge center for entrepreneurship in the cultural field. They helped set up the plan for Studio Pansa in 2018, and wrote this article about the project.
